This is about a selfish girl who I met in college. One day she called me and told me she was dropping out of college which came as a suprise to me. I went to her room to say goodbye. When I got there she was crying and she told me it's sad to think that all the memories we and all our friends had didn't matter because we were going to forget about her as soon as she left anyways. I told her no there is no way that will happen I am going to remember the times we had together. Then a week, a month, 6 months went by and I thought to myself... What was that girls name again?
lyrics
Break through your barrier of a selfish attitude
Let it go like its ok to loose
You’ve been the winner, but you seem so very blind
Who will hold you up at the end of time?
Slowly realize that no one’s coming back for you
That you have always had a selfish attitude
The words hurt like bullets from the gun
Being held by the man who you thought was the one
As you bleed and slowly hit the floor
You pray to God that you promise to do more
But he’s doing his best to even out the score
So pray to God that he opens up his door
As you watch conveniently above
Nothing changes even for the ones you thought you loved
They merely shake it off and say “I’m sure she will be missed”
But judging by their selfish attitudes they don’t believe in this
